Intro to Bluegrass Guitar with Sean

Service Description

This advanced beginner guitar class will introduce students to the style and techniques used in playing bluegrass music. We will cover backup playing for accompanying a melody instrument, “the G run,” bluegrass lead playing and introduce cross-picking patterns. Jump start your twang and be ready to show up at your local jam with confidence! Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 8/11, 8/18, 8/24, 8/31 ONLINE through Zoom Details: - $100 tuition covers all 4 weeks, so it breaks down to $25/class. - You only need to sign up for the first day of classes on the next page to sign up for the entire session. - If you want to pay ahead of time but know you will not able to attend all the classes, you don't have to pay for the ones you will miss - You may pay for the entire session at once or pay by the class - Drop-ins for single sessions are welcome - The rate of $25/class applies for a group lesson of 3+ people, so we need at least 3 people to sign up for it to stay at that rate - Participants must bring an instrument- if you need one, contact Molly at makemusicmakers@gmail.com - Prerequisites are being able to play some guitar including being comfortable with several chords, changing chords fairly quickly, and some strumming
