Corinna's Biography
Corinna picked up the fiddle at the young age of 8 and grew up learning and
playing old time fiddle and classical music. She later moved to Levelland, Texas
from her Northern California home to study Commercial Music under Allan
Munde and Joe Carr at South Plains College. While still in college she joined the Dinner Theater establishment, The Flying J Ranch in Ruidoso, New Mexico, playing Western and Bluegrass styles of music. Corinna performed as a member of the Flying J Wranglers at the Ranch for the past eighteen years playing a fast fiddle and singing harmony and lead vocals. There she entertained thousands of guests during the summer months as well as their Winter Christmas shows and tours, performing over 100 shows a year. During her tenure at the ranch she was involved with recording multiple albums with the band, in addition to that she was in charge of designing graphics for the Wranglers and the Ranch.
During her time as a Wangler Corinna taught fiddle and violin to many of the local kids and adults in and around Ruidoso, New Mexico. She has 30 years of playing experience, 18 years of professional stage experience and 10 years of teaching experience. Since moving to Staunton, Virginia Corinna is looking forward to teaching and connecting with as many musicians as possible!
In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her family as well as sitting down with a
good book and or sketching in her sketchbook.
