Lorie's Biography
Lorie Lichtenwalner is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and bass player and has been playing music since she was a teen. She grew up in Nazareth, PA with parents who participated in the 1960s folk scare and encouraged the kids to sing at the table. At 12, Lorie attended the Philly Folk Festival and “got hooked” watching how much fun and camaraderie she saw amongst the bands.
Lorie is a member of Grammy nominated band Troublesome Creek and still attends every fiddlers convention and traditional music festival she can. When she’s not playing music, Lorie is a nurse and resides in Augusta County. Lorie is the mother of three musical daughters, Molly and Sally Murphy, and Lizzie Cahalin.
